Keys lock for Recording midi

I chose C Phrygian. I want to record MIDI, but I can’t play the piano. So I chose Keys-Lock in Scaler and scaled only the white keys. Then I played CDEFGAB

The sound I heard was CDBEBFGAB(CPhygianism)

However, when I opened the DAW piano roll window, I found that I still recorded CDEFGAB

So, can I record the same as I heard, and the recorded MIDI is also CDBEBFGAB

How can I set it up to do this? Or is it impossible?

Hi @swingmix The DAW always records the trigger notes. So you are hearing the notes of C Phrygian but you are looking at the actual notes you triggered. Easy solution is to hit the MIDI CAPTURE button in Scaler, hit play to capture and then drag to your DAW!
