Keys Lock records actual notes in DAW

Hi there, I’ve found someone ‘feature request’ this but can’t see if this is a bug or just the way it is.

So I lock the scale to white notes only and I come up with this lovely melody. I’m just using Scaler’s own built-in sounds. I hit record in my DAW (Cakewalk by Bandlab). However, the notes recorded are the actual physical notes I’ve been playing, rather than the ‘cheating’ ones.

Is there a way to use this function and end up with the scale-locked notes being recorded instead of the actual notes?

Hi @Daylaa

You are probably recording the output of your midi keyboard onto the track and not the output of Scaler.

Try to route the MIDI from Scaler to another track and record it there, it should work as intended.
