haven’t been able to drag a MIDI file into the standalone version of Scaler 3. I’ve spent an hour trying, and it seems impossible. If it is possible, can someone please show me how? It’s frustrating—simple tasks we could easily do in Scaler 2 now feel unclear, overly complicated, or just not supported. Honestly, it’s starting to put me off Scaler 3. All the new features don’t feel worth it if we have to relearn basic operations. I’ve been a loyal user since the beginning and invested time learning through the user course. Now, this friction is slowing down both my workflow and creativity. Apologies for the rant, but I hope the developers seriously consider user feedback. or at least make videos on all the things that have changed and how to do them
Both MIDI and audio drag and drop work the same way.
Please see video.
First, in Reaper, second, in standalone. As you may see, this can be done in ANY section.
Please note that this must be done from Windows Explorer to either Scaler 3 standalone or plugin.
