Droping manually Midi files into Scaler3 doesn´t work out for me. I can only import them using Detect midi and pressing the import folder next to it.
Welcome to the community @tsmiguel We are going to introduce a drag and drop MIDI file onto Scaler 3 in a few weeks with a 3.1
That will be an awesome feature!
Great David I am glad to know.
Scaler 3 is awesome so much to explore and experiment.
Congrats.
Well, it was there in Scaler 2..
Also if its possible can you make possible when i drag something from Scaler to the Daw (Ableton) make the clip name same as the name of the “motion” that has in Scaler? That way after weeks or months when we reopen projects we know what we used from scaler. Maybe its something that is Daw specific but if its possible then it will be a very handy quality of life fix.
I tested this in Reaper and this did not work with Scaler 3.
Then I tested with Scaler 2 and it didn’t work either although in the past, it worked fine.
But when I reinstalled quite an old version of Reaper and tried with Scaler 2, everything was OK, but not with S3.
So, this it a half-half problem between Reaper and Scaler 3. Probably the same with some other DAWs.
