Hey,
id like to route the lowest note of a chord always to a bass plugin. Best without that note to plugin 1.
In Ableton i just selected Scaler 3 as Input like on Plugin 1 Piano.
But my mono Bass Synth kinda plays something else then the lowest note.
Is it somehow possible to get this working?
Thanks in advance
Hi @aaaronhimself Welcome to the community. In an imminent update we will have a mute tool you can use in Chord Follow tracks which enables you to send any notes anywhere. We are also hoping to implement a ‘Bass Follow’ track as an articulation which will do exactly that. 3.1 will also have main track sync which will help with Ableton users. At the moment another way I like to do it is choose a simple Bass Motion and reduce the Density parameter!

great thanks for the info. also in scaler 2 we had a humanize velocity and timing for the chords bound to keys. so when i play a chord its also a bit different. i couldnt find that in scaler 3. would be awesome to have something like that or did i miss it?
coolest thing would be to decide a range that velocity can go between. and maybe a parameter for random inversions so the chord always changes when its played.
so a simple chord progression would always change a bit.
oh another question: is there a chord spread? to move spread the chord above more octaves ? schwarzonator by henrik schwarz had a feature like that.
It’s there, down the bottom of the main page ‘Humanise’ menu. You also have Humanise and Quantise menu per track in the arrange page!
Yes this is something we want to improve upon. Been on our list for a while but have never gotten to it thus far…
In the Arrange Page you can spread chords using the ‘Density’ parameter in the sidebar!

wow super cool. thanks for the great support @davide
