Not sure if the answers to these questions are obvious to other users, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to determine easily if there’s a new version/ update of Scaler and, if so, how am I supposed to update it? I bought it from Plugin Boutique: do I have to keep checking in there? Isn’t there any indication from the app / plugin itself? It’s all very confusing and opaque. Any advice gratefully appreciated!

If there is a notification feature in the plugin, I’m not aware of it. Though, they did send an email out for one of the updates. Maybe I missed another email, because I checked the Scaler website and the updated install file was available for download there.
When I got my serial code, I created an account at scalermusic.com. From your account dashboard, click on my products. The files are available there listed with the current version number. The latest for both Mac and Windows is 3.2.0 at the moment.
Hi folks, there currently is no update notification within Scaler 3 itself, so your best option is to bookmark the Latest Version forum page by clicking ‘bookmark’ at the bottom. That page is updated with release notes as soon as a new version is released, so you’ll notified via the forum when an update is available.
If you click on the Scaler logo in the top left of Scaler 3, it opens the About/Help window which tells you which version you are currently using.
It doesn’t auto update?
I believe my version is up-to-date at 3.2.0. If you click on the Scaler logo in the upper left-hand corner, a box will pop up. This is the ‘About’ screen where you can see the version number at the top. The font is somewhat small, but it is visible there.
