I am running Scaler 3 on an iPad Pro 13" M5 with an external monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Scaler is running on the external monitor and generally works well. Great App btw!!.. 400 years of western music theory brought together in one place.
However, I am having problems with functions which require the “double tap gesture” to copy chord sequences or to open a context menu, etc. This is when running Scalar 3 on the external monitor, which is not touch enabled, If Scaler is on the iPad screen, all works OK, but that is not how I would like my system to function. I like to use the iPad’s display to run other music apps in a second screen with Scaler as the main app.
Is there an alternative way to perform the “double tap gesture” such as a mouse right-click, Ctrl/ Fn Key or similar?
If there is currently no way to address this, could it be considered in a future update?
My apologies if this topic has been covered before, but I could not search out an answer.
Hi @richard.faint Welcome to the community.
Nice setup and thanks for the info. We do have a right click on desktop and I wonder why that doesn’t pass through on iPad. Let me chat with the development team about what is required to pass through or implement Ctrl/ Fn Key. Likely in Scaler 3.3.
Thanks for the helpful feedback.
