I am trying to use the Arrangement view in Scaler 3, but I have 2 chords that seem to be stuck as muted. Right clicking on them to activate them doesn’t seem to be an option. I can’t seem to fathom why these chords are inactive. Thanks for insights!
Hello @Baskervils. Welcome to the community.
Unmute is normally done with Shift + click.
BTW, muted chords are darker than the “normal” chords (unmuted):
Please check and let us know.
Thanks, unmute is not an option on the list. I see:
Detect
Edit Chord
Delete Chord
Add To Sketch
etc.
Shift + click works without using the context menu. It toggles between mute and unmute.

Yep. Shift-Click, but it really, really, really should also be on the context menu.
Thank You Both. This was driving me completely insane. I could not figure out how to reactivate the chord. Considering this is the first time using the App, I am hoping that it gets less maddening from here!
That has a few complications. Highlight chords that are muted and unmuted? We are going to introduce a M (mute tool) next to the scissors. The onboard tutorial also makes it clearer. Agree though that is has gotten a few of our users. Will be clearer in 3.1.2
Thanks! I think there are so many keyboard shortcuts in that area, that it is easy to accidentally engage that one.
I think that I muted the track when trying to select all of the sections to view the entire song in the Midi Editor. Otherwise, I was only seeing a single section.
Thank you all for chiming in.
