Hello all,
Is it possible to draw notes or move note off of the grid, or even change the grid in the MIDI editor? I have a User clip and I can’t seem to make anything except 8th notes. I am sure I am missing something, sorry if this is obvious and thank you in advance.

Hi @loudon. Welcome to the community.
I must admit that normally I don’t use MIDI Editor. So, I tried and found that I can add or delete notes on the Main Track, but cannot resize or split them.
However, if I want to modify notes on any other type of tracks (e.g. Bass or Chord Follow), I can do whatever I want with them.
Hi @Miki thank you for the warm welcome, and detailed screen movies. When editing midi, Are you able to move the start of a note to a position between the 16th note grid? Turning off snapping is a standard function in MIDI editing(often with a modifier key), but I can’t find it here.
I tried, but I cannot move the note freely. By small increments only, as per ruller:
Hi @loudon In addition to Miki’s replies you can move by 16th at the smallest increment. We may change that in the future but it’s working well for most users now. Please ensure you have the latest version as the original release only allowed movement by 8ths.
