Audio Outputs For Each Channel/Track

I love that Scaler 3 now offers tracks within the plugin that allow for our own instruments and effects.

At this point though it’s heading into the area of sound design within the plugin. So to be able to port the individual tracks out in realtime to tracks in the DAW would be really helpful to record the outs and route into bus groups etc in the DAW.

I am using Studio One so I’m not sure if this is available in other DAWS but I’m not currently seeing it avalable in Studio One V7.

I love the way this plugin is going! Amazing work

If you’re in the Arrange page, click on the 3-dot menu icon near the track name, and you should see the options of “Delete Track” and “Midi Channel”.
Hope that helps.

Hi, thank you for sharing. I don’t think this is the same though. My meaning is to be able to route the audio out for each track/channel. Not just the midi. I see the option for midi out but that would just be note values which would require another instance of an instrument on the track in the DAW to re-create the sound from within the plugin. And if we put say eq, saturation etc on a track inside scaler 3 it would need to be replicated in the DAW which is doubling up workflow.

If we had the option to route the audio from the track with a selected instrument and plugins it would be really flexible.

Sure, I suppose that might work for some. I tend to use the built-in modulation and automation in the DAW, so not really a workflow I would use.

Totally agree. I like to automate in the DAW too. This workflow would help with that too. If a sound is created inside Scaler that’s a nice base and mixes in well, then any extra fx and automation could be done on the track in the DAW without having to recreate the sound inside the DAW.

It doesn’t make sense to me to put the ability to use our own instruments and add fx if it stays within the plugin. It’s very limiting. It’s hard to buy into another workflow if part of that workflow isn’t accessible. So like you I will probably stay away from doing it… Which is a shame because the idea of adding our own sounds and effects inside scaler 3 is a great idea for ease of workflow and speed.
