I happen to have a lot of plugins and I’m running out of space on my hard drive so I store my vst2 and vst3 plugins on a separate drive. For most plugins, that is not a problem at all even if there is a standard install location for vst3. I would like to see Scaler 3 being able to find and scan them as well.
Welcome to the forum @Dannelidan That is being included in Scaler 3.1 due mid-late April:
We need an option to type several paths, something I can do in Reaper.
Just look at my paths in Reaper:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3;C:\Program Files\VstPlugIns;C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugins;C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins;C:\Program Files (x86)\SONiVOX\VST;C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\Essential Keyboard Collection;C:\Program Files (x86)\SONiVOX;S:\VSTx64\Essential Keyboard Collection;S:\VSTx64\VST3;S:\VSTx64;S:\VSTx86;S:\Ample Sound;S:\Spitfire Audio - BBC Symphony Orchestra;S:\S:\GP04 Vocalise 2;%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Common\VST3;C:\Program Files\Vstplugins\UJAM;GP07 Scoring Acoustic Guitars;S:\SONiVOX\BigBang 2;s:\vst3;s:\vst2;S:\VST64;S:\Soundpaint\Bass - Fender P-Bass;S:\Soundpaint\Guitar - 1975 Jazz;C:\Program Files\Playtime\VstPlugins
Reaper added most of them automatically, but not all, so I had to type them.
