The tempo in Scaler 3.2 with Studio One (7 and new Fender 8) is fixed to the DAW tempo even when DAW sync is off. I have been away for a while and having to learn all over again, but don’t recall this before…
Hi @LawrieA and welcome to the forum. Yes we felt this was important otherwise Virtual Instruments / sync’d effects would be out of time when you turned DAW sync off and tempo would change. Is there a reason you would need a different tempo to your DAW with DAW Sync off?

Thanks Davide, Actually, no, there is no reason! I have just switched to the Fender version of S1 and was setting up some previous songs. I should have been more careful with the DAW tempo.
I love Scaler 3 but need to spend more time with it. Are there any plans to make a training course as with Scaler 2?
Yes indeed. We are working with School of Synthesis to create the ‘Official Scaler 3 Course’. Will most likely come alongside release of Scaler 3.3 next few months!
