Still no option to record a played part into the Main Track?

Hi,

How do I play chords in my selected scale and record that sequence to the Main Track? So that I can add bass, arps, etc in other tracks.
All I can do is move and resize chord blocks in the Main Track, but this is a really cumbersome way of making music.

I’ve downloaded 3.2 and tried using the new User Track which allows me to record a played part as a midi clip. But you cant use the bass or arps tracks to follow the User Track. They only follow the Main track.

I see no difference between the user track and just recording a midi clip in your DAW.

How do we record a played part into the Main Track on the arrangement page?

Aaah, so I realized that what I’m trying to do isn’t the correct way! My noobness is showing, my apologies.

I have been trying to use the Main Track for rhythmic chords, when I should use the User Track for this. The main chord progression goes on the Main Track for the others to follow.
