Standalone Scaler Detector in remote display

I’m running Standalone Scaler Detector on an Apple Macbook Pro/macOS Sequoia 15.7.1 and can’t move it to a connected remote display. Can this be fixed? Thanks

I figured out how to get this to work by dragging the window to the remote display window, but it isn’t fluid (it’s jerky). However control clicking (right clicking) to bring up a sub menu to select moving to a different display doesn’t work.

In fact control clicking doesn’t seem to work at all, or at least it didn’t work on the Scaler Detector logo to bring up the other options.

Hi @j_h_fry Welcome to the community. Strange I don’t have any issue with this. Silly question but have you tried dragging another plugin to your remote display?

Hi @davide, thanks for the welcome and reply.

Not using the plugin version yet, just messing with the standalone. But yes, no problems dragging from MBP display to remote monitor with anything else, ever. It works in Scaler Detector but it’s jerky and doesn’t look like it’s going to stick the first time or two. But I can live with it.

However I don’t understand why control clicking doesn’t work on my MBP trackpad. This is the first app that’s had this problem. Right clinking with my trackball mouse does work, but I mostly prefer using the trackpad.

I love the concept of Detector and look forward to using it with Scaler 3 and Scaler EQ. A great triple play of apps/plugins. Great work creating niche products unlike anything else.
