Standalone and VST: Crash When Lassoing Chords Right to Left In Main Track Arrangement Tab [Fixed in 3.1.1]]

I had saved a User preset in SC3 Standalone, then opened it in Live. I was able to repeatedly crash Live by opening the preset, then navigating to the Arrange Tab and trying to lasso-select chords in the main track from right to left.

This bug is repeatable in SC3 Standalone. After testing, it only happens dragging from right to left and only on the Arrange Tab.

And after a few reboots of SC3 Standalone using the same User Preset, the following behaviour occurred where there were not chord note tools available. Despite a similar number of reboots in Live, this behaviour did not occur in the VST.

Hi @jeffreyk

Thanks for taking the time to report this. The “Lasso Chords” crash will be resolved in Scaler 3.1, which is due for release next week.

We’re also currently working on improving preset stability in future updates. Cheers.

We strongly recommend it for all Scaler 3 users. You can download the 3.1.1 installers from Plugin Boutique (under My Account) or from Scaler Music (under My Products).
