Scaler not opening

It keeps on trying to load but never do. It will keep doing this until I close it last time it did this for hours.Ive tried reinstalling both scaler 3 and Logic Pro.I’ve also tried restarting after a reinstall and still it doesn’t the same thing. Has anyone found a solution to get it to work in Logic Pro

Hi @ksirdidthat

Sorry to hear you have experienced this issue.

How to Resolve:

  1. Open Finder and click Go in the menu bar.
  2. Hold the Option key to reveal the Library folder, then click it.
  3. In the Library folder, locate the Scaler Music folder.
  4. Delete the file named settings.pref.
  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Reinstall Scaler 3.
  7. Restart your computer again.

This should fix this issue, but if it persists after following these steps, please let us know.

I kinda figured it had to do with a file I just didn’t know where it was at the time, similar to an issue I had with Arturia. I came to this conclusion after wiping my whole system and doing a restore later after seeing this message here in my email. That got it to work, but sometimes I’m getting an issue with the plugin and Logic asking to recover or quit. At the moment, it’s happening while in the MIDI editor. Also, is there a way to make smaller adjustments in creating, let’s say, the User Bass, which it’s not allowing me to make smaller increments and snapping it to the grid even when it’s on 1/16, it’s not letting me move or cut it at that grid line. I may have to do a video to further explain if you don’t get what I mean.

also to include about the midi I wanted to included moving it to a different area of the grid such as changing the length to fit that section right now the only way to do that would to use a premade midi then move that instead of creating it from blank.Or using the scissors to slice it at the grid marker which the scissors isnt working for me at all only cutting to the next midi note
