Scaler MIDI Notes (FL Studio vs. Studio One)

Hi,

So when i use Scaler in Studio One and play the chords, it actually records all the chord midi notes, which is PERFECT!

BUT, in FL Studio, it only records the one note that represents that chord.

For an update, could you make Scaler record the actually midi notes in FL Studio (or any other DAW) like how you can in Studio One?

Hi,

Studio One makes it easy but each DAW has its own way of routing MIDI, it’s hard to find something that works everywhere the same way.

We are working on adding other ways to record the strumming and arpeggio notes to export them simply.

How did you get Scaler to do that in Studio One?

For FL Studio:
Make Your progression in PianoRoll using the representing single Notes. Set Output MIDI Port in Scaler to any You want (except --) and set the Input MIDI Port of Your target Plugin to the same MIDI Port. Then in Channel Rack in Context menu of Scaler click the “Burn to MIDI” function. Use “New Pattern” and voilá, You got it. Copy the burned progression to where ever You want.
Don’t forget to deactivate the MIDI out and in in Scaler and target.
