**Scaler 3 Workflow Disruptions: Scale Shifts, Track Limitations, and Arranger Window Glitches**

Here are a few issues I’ve consistently noticed while using Scaler 3:

  1. Scale Change After Reopening Window:
If I close the Scaler 3 window and reopen it later, the selected scale changes automatically. When that happens, every track outside of the main track changes its tone or notes entirely. This scale change happens without fail, every single time—making the workflow unpredictable and frustrating.

  2. Chord Set Lock-In:
Once you select a chord set (e.g., Blues), there’s no way to delete or clear it from the top bar unless you replace it with a different set. If I simply want to delete it, I can’t—unless I create a brand new instance of Scaler 3. This adds unnecessary steps to an otherwise smooth process.

  3. Track Type Lock-In:
If I add a track—say a bass track—but meant to add a melody or articulation instead, I can’t switch the track type. I have to delete the track entirely and start over. It would be helpful to have the ability to switch track roles on the fly.

  4. Arranger Window Chord Bugs (After 32+ Bars):
When working deeper into a song (32+ bars), adjusting chords in the arranger window becomes glitchy. Enlarging a chord causes it to shoot 5+ bars to the right. If I try to shorten a chord to under a bar in length, it jumps to the smallest snap setting—even when I don’t want it that small.

This happens in VST2 & VST3.

These issues really slow down the creative flow, especially during long sessions. Hoping these can be addressed in a future update!

I took have had #4 as a repeated issue.

I think this has to do with the Scroll functionality trying to extend too quickly. I can replicate this now. If I use a precise mouse I am ok but trackpad it zooms away. Let us address this.
