I use Reaper 7.35 on Win11 and have no issues. Also on Windows 11. The best will be to add some details (your CPU, RAM, OS, maybe an error message or an extract from Event Viewer). Anything that might help.

Also here… instant crash during loading of VST2 or 3 in Reaper 7.35 and Live 12 on Windows 10, Intel Core i7 8700K @ 3.70GHz, 32 Gb Ram… no problems with version 2 of scaler. Standalone Scaler 3 seems to work.
Fixed it: I needed to restart the computer…seems to work now

So far, everything works fine here in Reaper 7.35 (Win10). 
I use logic and its crashed about 8 times for me now lol. Still dope tho
Yep. Mine, too. Really annoying. If you don’t save the minute you get inspiration for the next thing, you lose those elements.

I had the same problem on PC / Windows 11 : Scaler 3 (VST3) crashing Reaper, Bitwig and FL Studio.
Stand Alone was ok.
==> I just needed to re-start my PC and everything seems to be ok now.
I hope this can also work for you.

Got the exact same with Cubase 14. Loading in Scaler 3 causes the daw to close.

it also crashes in Flstudio Latest.
windows 11,
CPU Intel I9 core gen 12f,
Ram 64 GB
No logs Daw just closes without warning.
Edit: Restarting indeed fixed the problem, might be a good thing to prompt a restart if the setup has finished.

Same problem. Only standalone version works
It seems most people are having problems without rebooting after install. I think that’s an important step - particularly after first install.

Yes, reboot fixed it here too. Thanks, everyone. A reboot isn’t unheard of with plugins, but usually there’s a prompt if needed.

This is strange indeed, because I never rebooted, and yet I’ve never had error messages/crashes with Bitwig 
Out of idle curiosity, do you use the sandboxing in Bitwig?
I’m running Reaper 6.7 and S3 works perfectly.

The regular VST Crashes Fl Studio…I can’t get the VST 3 to show in plugins list
The first time after install it doesn’t show up in FL as a vst3. Both AU and VST3 audio showed. Opening the manage plugins shows all in FL. after that is was available in the tree.

Live 12 suite okay
