Is there any possibility of an iPad/iOS version of Scaler 3? Coming soon?
Yes indeed. Mid 2025, we just want to try and improve S3 and get some user requested features in there before we move to iPadOS
Fantastic. I started with Scaler 2 on iPad, now I’ve got both platforms. It’s a great combo.
Yeah! Scaler 3 for iPad! It may cost me my marriage but it is worth it ![]()
Any chance to see it before August? I would like to have it during my holidays…
Hello Davidr! Any update? We are waiting! ![]()

No update as yet. As you can probably assume it’s a monster of a piece of software in terms of complexity so there are many challenges to getting it right! We are currently working through those challenges and making the appropriate plans to deal with them. The code base is there, it’s just sifting through each feature that requires some adjustment due to screen real estate and physical input. I’ve said all along later this year and we are still hopeful of that. As soon as we are confident I will make an announcement. Thanks for your patience we really do want to make it special and have it incorporate all the features of a Scaler 3.2 which will be significant!
Hi there,
I use Scaler 3 for windows (in Bitwig and Cubas) and it’s a fantastic piece of software!
It is one of the few programs that provides helpful support for the creative workflow, and you can feel the passion and musicality of the developers who worked on Scaler at every turn.
I recently purchased my first Apple device (iPad 11 with A16 processor) and would be very happy if I could use Scaler 3 on it as well.
Of course, it would be nice if Scaler 3 were available at a discount price for owners of Scaler 3 on PC. Modartt did this with Pianotech, providing every owner of a Windows or Mac license with a key that allowed them to purchase the version for iOS and iPad for free. Perhaps this could serve as inspiration and guidance ;-). But I could certainly understand if Scaler 3 for iPad cannot be free for Windows license owners. However, a discount would be nice!
Best regards and continued success,
Axel
Hi @Mercutio Welcome to the forum and thanks for the good vibes!
It won’t be free but we will make it accessible to our users. Working hard on all things Scaler now so hope to have some news soon.
Great: I am looking forward, whats to come.
