Hello, If I purchase Scaler 2 for the iPad now what will happen when Scaler 3 ios comes out?
When will the ipad Scaler 3 be available?

Hi,
I just had exactly the same question which actually stopped me for clicking the Purchase button of Scaler 2 for Ipad :slight_smile:
Davide said Scaler 3 for Ipad would be launch mid 2025. Hope it will run not only on recent Ipads…

I don’t think anything has been said about upgrade paths on iPad. I’m hoping that there is one for all iPad S2 users.

I enjoy playing with Scaler 2 on Ipad but having the full version would be definitely better :slight_smile:

Good question @Berthy and we don’t have the answer to that yet I am afraid. Given Scaler 2 on the iPad is around 20$ I would imagine the pricing would be the same for S3 rather that double the price and offer a 20$ upgrade. I am only speculating at this stage.

My take on it is that Scaler 2 will remain separate from Scaler 3, rather than being overwritten by it. So, if you have Scaler 2, you’ll still have it. Sort of like having Cubasis 2 and Cubasis 3 on the same machine.

Yes correct. They are totally different pieces of software.
