Scaler 3 (and 2?) Performance question-- missing the 7th, the 9th

Here’s my progression:

Am7 - G - Fmaj7 - Fmaj9

On most of the Performances I’m auditioning (using the C area binding), the patterns are rarely playing the 7th, or the 9th.

Is this supposed to be how it works? When I bind A and play the chords (held out, no Performance), I hear the full chord.

I wonder if I have something set wrong, but I rarely hear the intervals on extended chord types, with these patterns (Adagio, all the Italian words, Common Performances, Jazz Soft, etc)

Anyone else?

additional thought: Why can’t I edit the chord type with a double-click? Why do I have do right-click? Also, after right-clicking, and choosing the chord I want… it doesn’t change the chord in the C area. I have to manually drag it, and erase the one I didn’t want (very clunky).

Anyone? Bumping this for more visibility

Hi @Kayak Sorry no one got back to you. There’s a simple explanation here!

Hi Davide, I’m sorry but I don’t really understand what you mean. With EZKeys 1 and 2, if there’s a 7th or 9th chord, they add the extra note at the beginning of the pattern, to distinguish the harmony from a basic triad. Is this at all possible with Scaler 2 or 3? Thank you!

So what you’re saying is, all Performances (the four Italian-word categories) are only based on triads. Is it not at all possible to get the Performances to add the 7th or 9th, even at the beginning of the phrase/pattern, again, like EZKeys does?
