Hi, I downloaded the Scaler 2 and followed the instruction but the app did not appear on mac or external disk. Only Scaler 2 setting app appeared. I also tried opening my Garageband (Desktop version) but I did not find the app for Scaler. What can I do?

Hi @JCwrite welcome to the forum. First of all, there is no stand alone version of Scaler 2 which is why you cannot find it on your desktop. It can only be opened as a plugin in a compatible host.
You should be able to use the AU instrument plugin inside GarageBand. If you cannot see Scaler 2, I suspect you may be looking at the sounds library which does not display 3rd party plugins like Scaler 2. You need to use the Track section of the Smart controls at the bottom of the screen to select a plugin.
You can find various tutorials online demonstrating this with various plugins. Here is a guide for Native Instruments plugins. Same applies for Scaler 2, except you need to look under Plugin Boutique, not Native Instruments.
