Hi @Evgeny welcome to the forum. As mentioned in previous posts in this thread we haven’t been able to replicate this crash in our testing, and it appeared to be only occurring with the Scaler 2.9.1 beta release, not the official public release.
We were also trying to establish if this was a Cubase specific issue. Do you ever use Scaler 2 with DAWs other than Cubase?
There are couple of troubleshooting steps you can try. First I’d suggest uninstalling Scaler 2, rebooting your computer, and then reinstalling Scaler 2 using the latest version 2.9.1 installer. Also make sure you have installed any Cubase updates.
This may not be related, however there have been reports of improved stability in some cases after disabling OpenGL rendering in Scaler 2 using the ScalerSettings app which might be worth trying. Manage Default Preferences with ScalerSettings
If you continue to see these crashes can you please send us a crash report and we can take a look through and try to figure out what is going wrong.
