I’ve figured out recently that scales play through are not looped to the tonic above.
Although it could make sense indeed to only play factors only once, omitting the tonic at the octave is also omitting to play the last interval (!)
I suggest to at least propose that as a configurable option (to repeat or not the tonic above at the octave when unfolding a given scale)
What do you think ?

Totaly agree… Just opened up S3 to learn some new sales with my pianist 11 year-old son, and were was suprised not to hear the scales carried through to the octave tonic! Have never experienced this behavior from any music/theory app, and the scales sound incomplete without the tonic. Very strange omission indeed, and I hope it gets “fixed.”
