After saving a project where I had selected A Dorian as the scale (with a progression in the Main Track), when reopening the project the scale was reset to Am.

Hi @jeffreyk Can you try this in a new session? I am guessing you have a detection in Section A that is reverting your Scale back to the results of that detection. Please try opening a new session of Scaler 3 and selecting A Dorian and saving it.

I have attached a screen shot here of the current section. There is no chord set in A.
Ok, I did the test. And yes, the second instance retained the A Dorian selection while the 1st instance continued to reset.

Ok check your first instance then. Hit record, is there a previous detection there? At least we know its working as expected.
Ok, thats a trick for young players. Pushing Record wasnt actually enough. I had reset it to Capture so nothing was visible until I selected Detect. I had externally captured a little bass riff earlier…
