Without always knowing the alternative Chord Name, Is there a way to make searching Chords for Guitar more consistent? How can Scaler 3 be setup to find “Bm6” instead of “G#dim “?
1) Using Oomilo to find the Chord Shape, it displays as “Bm6” and also shows alternative Chord Name: Bm6 is also known as G#dim
2) Using Scaler 3 in Studio One 7 I want to find the same Chord name yet it does not find it by Bm6 yet does as G#dim.
Hi @sadicus, this may simply be due to your specific search query. If you search for bmin6 or b min6 (rather than just bm6) you should find the chord you are looking for.
Thanks for the suggestion, search did not find: “bmin6” “b min6” “bm6”.
Request for anyone to show that that chord is actually in the database and working.
Hi @sadicus are you searching on the Circle of Fifths page? As pictured, I can easily find a variety of b min6 chords using that search term. What chords do you find when searching for b min6?
