Routing multitrack midi for Reaper

I did a forum search and did not find anything that answers my question, and its pretty basic. I know how to set the individual lanes to output to different MIDI channels…I cannot see how to route that as inputs into Reaper. This is a must accomplish to really get started with Scaler…
