I am trying to play Scaler 3.2 live by binding chords in Section C and playing notes on my midi keyboard to trigger the chords. I have been doing this successfully since Scaler 2. I am now adding tracks like bass follow and chord follow but they won’t play unless I hit the “Play” button either in Scaler or in my Daw and when I do that, the entire chord progression begins to play. Is there a way to have all the tracks play when I hit a single key on my midi controller to trigger a single chord? Thanks.
I’ve wished to be able to do this too but, like you say, the other variants only seem to play when you play the whole sequence. Making them available on key presses would greatly enhance the functionality/playability imho…
On the Arrange Page, it would be great if the Key Binding button would play more tracts than the Main Tract. Any tract could be activated/deactivated using the Solo or Mute buttons. This type of feature would allow an amazingly powerful, realtime orchestration feature, just by hitting one key at a time. Turning off and on each tract would allow fine tuning of the orchestration. Also, if this can be included with the Performance feature, wow!
Hi @Mudwump2 Welcome to the forum. Yes we had originally intended BIND keys on every track but it caused some complications so we removed that feature. We are now experimenting with playing all and allowing Solo as you suggested! Look out for something in 2026!
