parallel harmony

Hi,

I’m running the latest version of Scaler 3.

Is there a way to generate parallel harmony?

I want the first chord in the chain to be mapped to the rest of the keyboard, in a chord-trigger/ chord memory way.

I saw this was possible with Scaler 2 but I can’t find any thing for 3.

Hope you can help.

Thanks

Hey @bbb Welcome to the community.
I miss Parallel Harmony and I am glad someone else does too!
As Scaler 3 was written from the ground up we couldn’t just use the same implementation as Scaler 2. However we are looking to introduce Parallel Harmony into the Sketch page in a forthcoming update. No concrete new but on our list.

Hi Davide,

Thanks for replying.

Yes, please implement this.
I don’t want to be moany, but this is the first thing I tried to do when I opened up Scaler 3, and I was baffled that it’s not possible. So I will have to jump back and forth between ripchord/ logic chord trigger and Scaler 3. It seems like a really basic thing that it should have, but maybe my approach to the programme is wrong.
Even outside of the obvious chord trigger thing, parallel harmony is really important in terms of Debussy and Ravel etc.
Please let me know if I should post this in requested features.

Best wishes

Just checked with the team and its on our list for the next major update Scaler 3.3 Q2.
