Modal Interchange modes are showing the wrong chords

Hello! I was testing out the “Modal Interchange” page using the C Major Scale, and immediately saw that the row labeled “Minor” did not have the corresponding correct chords. Since this is supposed to be the Minor (Aeolian) scale, the first chord should have been Cmin7 right? But Scaler shows Cmaj7 instead.

After trying to figure out what is wrong, this is what I believe the error is:

- The Minor row is showing the LYDIAN mode’s chords instead.
- The Lydian row is showing the MIXOLYDIAN mode’s chords instead.
- The Mixolydian row is showing the MINOR/AEOLIAN mode’s chords instead.

In short, the labels for the Minor, Lydian, and Mixolydian scales are all jumbled up, resulting in them showing the wrong chords for the corresponding modes.

I hope this gets fixed soon because this will be very confusing for anyone who’s trying to use Scaler 3 as an educational tool. Thank you!

Welcome to the forum @eyya
Talk about not seeing the trees for the forest.
Wow. Cannot believe no one has picked that up. In everyone’s defence the Modal Interchange window is from Scaler 2 and due to the other ways to find chord alternatives in S3 it was easily overlooked by our team, the development team, the beta team, and now our users!
Thanks, that was no Easter Egg.
Will have it fixed for a 3.1 in April
