M1 mac, Logic 11.2.2. Am I missing a setting here, or is this a bug?
I bind a series of chords, select keys lock for chord notes and test it out - all fine as I play the black keys for chord changes and play a melody on the keys lock notes….Time to record my masterpiece! - but as soon as I either play back any accompanying tracks or go for record, (i.e. the playhead starts moving) the chord changes on the black keys work but the keys-lock notes dont change with the chord changes - baffled… or have I missed something? Thanks
I think I may know what’s going on here. You’re recording the trigger notes (Chords and Keys Lock notes) into your DAW right? No prob, just like Scaler 2 you will have to turn DAW sync off otherwise you are re-triggering the chords twice (through your recorded trigger notes and the internal sequencer).
We are working towards allowing internal recording of Keys lock in 3.2 so it will be possible to use keys lock and do both! (DAW Sync ON or OFF).
Aha! Thanks Davide - hadn’t thought of that. That solves the issue. Been using Scaler for many years now - a great tool and developing very nicely . thanks for all the hard work over there in Aus.
