Immediate Chord names

When I trigger a chord I want it displayed straight away.

I don’t want to wait for it to scroll in a blue box.

Just display the name of the chord immediately.

Looking for the scrolling names is holding me up. Why is this key feature nerfed?

Thanks

If you mean real time chord detection they updated that in the 3.0.1 update.

Thanks,

No I mean, when I input notes to make a chord, I want a text string to appear immediately on screen saying “Bb Minor 7th flat 5”

Not wait for the name to appear

I want to quickly change notes and see the new chord name

No scrolling in the little blue boxes

I used Scaler 2 for ‘noodling’, where I played random chord shapes and variations, inversions, extensions, etc., in real time, and had Scaler 2 tell me what chords it thought I was playing based on my chord shapes. This was both fun and often instructional.

What happened to this functionality in Scaler 3? Is it still there? If so, where? Why was it hidden? Why is it so hard to find that I still haven’t seen it?

‘Real-time detect’ (where Scaler detects the player’s inputs and translates them to an easy-to-understand, annotated graphic representation on-screen) should have been front and centre (a whole page) in Scaler 3. This is a fun way to learn about chords and chord shapes (both for novices and seasoned pros).

Chord Panel Display was introduced in 3 1.0.1, please download the latest version and you will see the names of the chords being played via live input in the display (where you see tempo).
