Hello. Newbie to Scaler 3 here. I have an eight bar melody with chord progression in Cubase that I like. However, I am stuck as to ideas on how to continue this.
How do I get Scaler 3 to listen to this and suggest melodies and chord progressions please? Do I have to import from Cubase into Scaler 3?

Play with the midi detection. You play the track while it is detecting the chords. Hit the record button and it brings up a little dialog where you can press record. You use the detect midi or the capture midi. If the DAW doesn’t like it, you can always export the track as midi and open the midi file under the detect menu.

Can’t help there. I have never tried Cubase.
Usually, the midi track will feed into the scaler instance when you play. In Logic, I use Scaler as a MIDI FX but you can have the instance of scaler for the instrument of the track. When you play it, the midi data gets sent to the instrument.
