Does scaler3's chord suggest feature follow only forward direction?

When constructing a chord progression, we usually move in a forward direction—one chord leading naturally to the next.

Suppose I decide to change the intermediate chord (C7) in the progression Cmaj → C7 → Fmaj.

Will the chord suggestion feature take into account both the previous chord and the target chord when recommending the intermediate chord?

Or does the chord suggestion feature only look forward, considering the next chord in the sequence?

Please guide me. Thank you.

Chord Suggestion takes into account all of the proceeding chords including the chord you are suggesting from. Hope that helps.
