Unless I am overlooking an included feature of Scaler Detector, I would like to suggest the next evolution of this product. Since it is already analyzing an audio stream it would be excellent if it could convert to midi. I realize there are other solutions available, but they vary greatly in terms of accuracy. Certainly, it already determines chards and creates the midi equivalent, but it does not maintain the note values in terms of duration, nor does it generate the midi for any melody or voice movement.
As difficult this is particularly with polyphonic audio, this would be tremendous as a workflow for re-orchestration, production and leveraging replacement instruments for audio only recordings. With the rapid acceleration and refinement of AI this should seem achievable.
Then scaler could easily be used to augment the project.
Does this make sense?
