Hi, not like CE v1 or other synths, CE v2 gives CPU overload in Ableton Live on different presets. How can I deal with this issue? Greetings, Alex
Hey Alex, unlike other synths there’s a few presets that are using a monster amount of voices and need a modern system to work well! Avoid them if you are running an older platform, the rest of the presets and creating you own are quite economic and perform well compared to other synths.
What are your system details? You can try running CE2 in Eco Mode (go to settings). Let us know how you go.
Having the same problem, not with voices but with “Sequence” & “Progression”; “Arp” okay.
Tried switching “Eco”, helped a little but not enough.

hi, i have the same problem with CE2.
the cpu is sometimes exploding ( about to 70% ), other cpu hungry vst like diva are only by 30-40%.
CE2 is running in eco mode, daw is latest version of fl studio, win10 with amd ryzen5 and 32GB ram..
all other vsts are running well…

My PC is a AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, with SSD 8 TB. I updated my memory yesterday to 128 GB RAM. Since CPU and Memory work together, this helps, I usually stay below 80% of load. Which is still unbelievably high, in eco-mode.
I cannot upload image, but difference between ECO on/off is neglectible: 148 vs 157 % with e.g. Robot City preset.
