I have some chords added to the main track and I specifically want to use a B Mixolydian Scale. When I use the search box to find B Mixolydian, I get a few option like B Mixolyisn b2 for example, but I want plain B Mixolydian. Is there a way to access any scale I want regardless of what chords are on the main track please?
Yes I am. It seems once there’s chords on the track the results are constrained to some relationships with those chords. I’ve just seen another post about chord search being a bit strange. Maybe this is something to address. Ideally I’d like to be able to use any scale I choose, including user defined ones ideally.
You can choose whatever scale you want - no issue. If you have chords in Section A, Scaler is always listing the most compatible Scale from top to bottom according to your Section A chords. So your search will be there just maybe not at the top. It’s never influenced by Section C chords.
