This would be more useful to me if it were possible to use it as an ARA in Cubase, the same as Melodyne and Spectralayers. Thanks!
I use ARA a lot in Studio One but ARA is for processing and editing audio rather than MIDI so I’m not sure what using Scaler 3 as an ARA would bring to the table. Scaler is fundamentally a MIDI generator with a few instruments bunged on the end.
You make a good point. My thought is for tighter integration with my existing DAW, rather than S3 being it’s own DAW. I know the A in ARA stands for Audio, but it is short sighted for it not to also include MIDI integration. But that’s a problem with ARA and isn’t because of S3.
Do you mean using ARA for audio analysis? That’s really the only useful thing ARA2 would add that i can think of.
