3.3 update patterns / octave etc not showing

Hi all

Just did the update, and my patterns, octave, density side browser has dissapeared, ive reinstalled and restarted each time, anyone else having this issue. Im on a M1 mac.

Hi @len this sounds very strange. It sounds like you’re referring to the sidebar with modifier controls for the Arrange page. Note that controls will only appear there when a chord or MIDI clip is selected.

Would you mind posting a screenshot to help us understand what is going wrong?

Sorry about the late responce, yes ive reinstalled, twice, sidebar completly gone, most bizarre.

just did another download, and same thing, tried loading a template, to see if that had anything in it, but same story, so weird, im going to reinstall the previous version, this sucks hope i havent lost my work.

As Tristan mentioned, this is displayed when a chord or MIDI clip is selected. On your screenshot, there is 0 chords and 0 clips. You have no contents whatsoever.

So, I reproduced the same situation as yours:

But if you add some chords on the Browse page and send them to the section C (Main Track), everything changes:

Chord selected:

MIDI selected:

So, I suppose that you just skipped one important step:

having some chords on the Browse page and have it in the section C:

Then you can go to the Arrange Page and add tracks, clicking on any chord or MIDI and you should see the side menu.
