These two videos changed all my vision and perspective creating chord progression on scaler.I advise you to watch them. Please hire this guy to make some tutorials on scaler. The videos are made 6 years ago but still valid.
I agree the videos are great but the current version of Scaler does not have the same UI. For example, I do not see a way to have the chord inversions pallet listed below the the Chord Progression without going into the Edit Mode.
Additionally, he references for in-scale Substitutions having buttons on the lower right highlighted to suggest an appropriate chord substitution like Dominant, subdominant. I know there is the Variations drop down but it does not highlight, as suggested, the in-scale chord substitutions such as 1,3,6 2,4, and 5,7 as he shows in the video.
Am I missing a particular setting to achieve this? I have not found one so far.
Thanks
Hi
I am also wondering where these substitutions go in the newer versions?I think it was very helpfull. it would be great if someone can help on this topic
Thanks for sharing! this is an excellent tutorial - I’ve never seen it presented like that. Even with old version, this should be easy to implement.
