Tempo Changing

When I drag and drop a Scaler chord into Logic Pro X 10.4., each instance adds a tempo change marker and sometimes changes the tempo. How can I get Scaler to not make any changes to the tempo?

This has nothing to do with scaler but rather a preference you changed in Logic. See attached, you have it selected to yes and don’t ask.
