There is a discussion thread on this here: slash chord in scaler 3
It would be useful to have because:
-
In order to know a given slash chord is an inversion, it requires knowing theory on inversions (which is perhaps more advanced than what the standard Scaler user accepts, indeed I could imagine that many people use this plugin to close some of those advanced theory gaps). I just went to add a G7/B and didn’t stop to realise it was G7 first inversion, and I’m someone who does understand inversion theory.
-
Editing the chord mislabels the result: I took a G7 and simply altered it accordingly and the label changed to Bdim#5, which is of course inaccurate.
