Hi, I would like to ask you for advice.
I’m using Scaler2 on iOS as AUv3 MIDI source for AUv3 iBassist. It is a know fact that iBassist need more time to process incoming chord and that’s why I need to send a chord from Scaler2 to MIDI out a bit earlier than it should be. Is there a parameter I can use for this? I haven’t found it.
I’m also using JustChords app along with iBassist and there I can set “Chord change anticipation” value to 1/16 beat. With this value, iBassist responds to chord changes at the right time.
Hi @Filo01 Welcome to the forum. Have you tried playing around with ‘Play Quantise’ and its associated settings in Scaler 2 iOS Settings? Bit hard to imagine what effect it will have but it responds to midi clock and plays chords according to measures for the purpose of always playing on the correct bar/beat/step. Maybe that may help?
Thank you for your response, @davide.
Unfortunately quantizing doesn’t help, I have got the same result.
I also tried shortening the chords from 2 to 1.75% and adding 0.25% Rest. But that didn’t work either.
Given that the last post on this was over 6 months ago, is it safe to assume the answer is “No, Scaler 2 for iOS doesn’t support this feature”…anyone have any more info?
