Sessions Pro has become an essential part of my Scaler 3 workflow. It is very similar to hosting apps like MainStage, AUM, Audiobus in that it is both host, mixer, audio recorder, routing matrix without all of the other stuff a main daw has to distract you.
My primary use for Scaler 3 is to control my HW and SW synths. Unfortunately, S3 standalone doesn’t have any sort of clock sync (ableton Link coming soon). Enter Session Pro which has rock solid midi clock sync and Ableton link.
It also has an always on recorder that records 15 minutes of your playing/jamming shenanigans.
