Scaler 3 won't work in Fl Studio

So sad that my first post has to be a complaint. After installing Scaler 3, my initial plugin scan wouldn’t find the vst3 version, but there is a regular vst version. When trying to open that, FL Studio crashes.

Have you checked the options upon installing Scaler 3,it will give you the option of scanning for Vst 3 plugins,etc
Might have to do a re-install.Mine worked straight away in FL Studio and no crashes

  1. Reboot your system (Yes I know reboot after installation is not necessary these days, but just do it)
  2. boot FL and open the Plugin Manager
  3. Check “Rescan Plugins with errors” in Scan options
  4. Pray, then hit “Find installed Plugins”
  5. Hit that button again till it finds the vst3 version
  6. start a new project then let’s see
