Sorry for this post, but I think i saw an Arturia KeyStep MKII in one of your videos, and i was wondering why, when these keyboards are used with the scale mapped onto the keys, they cut off the sound of many VST synth presets if you hit two keys with the same note mapped.
It doesn’t always happen and It seems to be related to poliphony—by increasing the release, the issue can be corrected. However, Scaler 3 (and I think also Live’s Scale) repeats the note without sending a note-off.
If i remember correctly, Scaler 2 had a similar issue as well, unless the scale was mapped only to the white keys.
In your opinion, is this something Arturia could fix with a firmware update?
I contacted Arturia support, and they were able to reproduce the issue, but it doesn’t seem to be a priority—or perhaps it’s not fixable…
