Scaler 3 (DDU) Display Driver Windows

Hi,

The Scaler 3 plugin crashes when the GUI is touched. If I click it with the mouse, the plugin stops responding, then closes.

This happens in Bitwig Studio, FL Studio, and Nuendo.

I’m running Windows 11 25H2.

I also had a problem with Tai Chi from LiquidSonics doing exactly the same thing. Two plugins behaving in exactly the same way made me thing this is more of a system issue than a plugin issue.

Here’s the steps I tried.

  1. Ran the NVIDIA installer, clicking “Clean install” as an option. Didn’t fix the issue.
  2. Downloaded the DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller - https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/) and reinstalled the graphics driver - resolved the issue.

So consider this resolved - just posting this in case it helps anybody else.
