Hi all, just wanted to share some news: Scaler 3.3 arrives July 16 and is currently in beta.

This is one of the biggest Scaler 3 updates yet. Multi-Bind lets you perform and loop multiple lanes at once, while a more flexible Motion workflow means you can freely combine and move different Motion types across tracks.

It is also a major workflow refresh, with visible timelines across Browse, Create and Arrange, improved chord synchronisation, more intuitive editing, and many quality-of-life improvements shaped by your feedback since launch.

We are also introducing a new self-managed activation system. This gives you more flexibility and control over your Scaler 3 authorisations, and addresses one of the biggest frustrations with the previous activation process.

Full release notes and videos land July 16.

Sounds interesting, but I am not really following. It would be great to see a video when the time is right.

A constant view/timeline across the major tabs will be much welcome. Scaler is so powerful as a tool that it is sometimes difficult to keep the bigger picture in mind. Looking forward to it. Thanks!

Will it also be coming for iPad on 16 July? And will we get the ability to attach/re-attach motions in 3.3 on iPad? So desparate for this missing functionality.

@davide !!! dude! I am so chuffed… KEYS LOCK>CHORD SCALES MODE!!! Thank you!!! That has made me want to write more chunes, SO much better…
1/ follows the scale and plays all the notes in that scale on the white notes,
2/ smoothly playing notes from left-low to right-high,
3/ NO UNEXPECTED OCTAVE JUMPS!!! and
4/ no double notes!

now THAT’s why I bought Scaler! :grin:

Hi Davide, Downloaded 3.3 but no license is showing in my account to activate it. Followed chat bots instructions (remove ad blocks extensions etc). Tried 3 browsers but its still not showing.

How do I get my license if its not appearing in the My Products page?

Update seems cool, I had a little issue/bug though on my first use of it. I added a thread to the bug reports.
