Hi In Scaler 2 for iPad (iPad M3 Air, OS 26) “keys lock chord notes” if you trigger a note that is also in the presently played binded chord and then stop playing the binded chord, for me it is cutting off the “keys lock chord note” as well even if still playing it. I tried different setting with the sustain in Scaler 2 but that had no effect, and I’m not using sustain in the chain. I tried using “multi voice output” which sort of audibly prevents it from cutting off but also add an extra repeated note in the overlap too, which causes a wonky sound. Is there any setting for those overlapping notes not getting cut off? It doesn’t happen in Scaler 3, but as noted in another post I prefer the smaller octave jumps of the “chord notes” in Scaler 2.
Also, for bother Scaler 2 or 3, is if there is a way to route the binded chords and “keys lock chord notes” to separate midi channels? I haven’t determined how to do after reading though the forums. I saw some mentions of having two plugin Scaler instances with one set to bind chord and one set to “keys lock,” with the chords muted, but when i tried it the follower doesn’t change the chords in order to play “chord notes,” and also the leader will still play individual notes. Since the keys lock chord notes overlap with the binded chords also they can’t be routed to different channels based on the octaves in the DAW. The other posted and videos I saw about routing to different channels seem to only involved automatically triggered melodies.
Thank you.
